Northern Lights Children’s Charity teams up with the #1 New Book Release on Amazon
Northern Lights Children’s Charity has teamed up with author, Liam Devonport, allowing you to get your hands on Amazon’s #1 New Book Release, Zenith: The Science, History and Mythology of the Northern Lights, with profits donated directly to our cause.
The book, a narrative nonfiction piece, tells the astounding story of the Northern Lights from beginning to end. It investigates the lights, delves into their origin, and asks many questions such as: who was the first person in history to see them? What did they say? And how did their myths stand the test of time? It also looks to the more humorous aspects of their story and enquires: are they really caused by a giant fox flapping its tail? Have they ever attacked anybody? And do they get angry when you insult them whilst they dance?
It’s a sure pleaser for lights enthusiasts, or anyone wanting to hear their science, history, mythology, and the investigation and adventure that has helped form today’s understating. Whilst having a little fun along the way, of course.

Why Northern Lights?
My name is Liam, and a good few years ago – more than I care to admit to – I worked in Lapland for Cosmos Holidays and had the pleasure of running a tour in Kittila, Finland, for Northern Lights. As the tour guide, I hosted a bus full of children, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.
